• One of you guys posted pictures from the new Doctor Who comic by Gary Russell recently, but I cannot remember who. Was it you? I would dearly love to know where you can get the comics, because Ten is eminently cartoonable! But the only reference I have seen is on amazon which says it is not released til August. :(

• I love my fandom news communities, such as sga_newsletter or torchwood_three. They have all the fandom goodness you could desire without having to go searching for it. Does anyone know of a similar community for Battlestar Galactica? It'd be great to see some of the fandom speculation before the start of the new season.


• Regarding the loss of basic accounts, danahboyd (of the LJ advisory board) informs us that "things are being discussed about what to do. Personally, I'm a big fan of the suggestion made by many users to make Basic Accounts available by invite-only... this is what I'm going to push for, but I can't promise anything." This sounds like a good compromise to me.
